About the role#
The Central OC Young Life Summer 2026 Internship Program offers students an opportunity to support ministry operations, fundraising, and communications. This part-time role focuses on building systems and storytelling efforts that help mobilize ministry effectively. Candidates must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
What you'll do#
- Clean up donor databases and contact records.
- Organize area photos, videos, and digital assets.
- Assist with ministry calendar planning and annual communication strategies.
- Create a summer social media content calendar, including scheduling posts and designing promotional graphics.
- Help create impact-centered storytelling content, such as gathering student and leader stories.
- Build systems for tracking leader recruitment, donor engagement, and school contacts.
- Audit and update digital platforms and create standardized forms for leader applications and parent communication.
- Support donor care through writing thank-you notes and organizing alumni databases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to be self-motivated.
- A creative and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Passion for ministry and storytelling.
- Comfort with technology and social media platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently.
- Experience with tools like Canva, Google Workspace, or video editing is a plus, but not required.

- Location: Tustin, California.
- Term: Summer 2026 (June through July).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid at $18 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week.
