About the role#
As an MBA Marketing intern, you will join one of six business units focused on Product or Brand Management and Marketing Strategy. You will work alongside a mentor and your manager to tackle projects that influence strategic priorities. These include customer insight generation, product development, growth strategies, and market development. You will have the opportunity to see how marketing functions within a complex, evolving medical technology environment.
What you'll do#
- Lead a comprehensive new product market assessment to gather customer insights, including physician behaviors and product selection criteria.
- Build dynamic market models to analyze the financial impact of strategic options.
- Develop segmentation, product positioning, value propositions, and pricing strategies for commercialization plans.
- Conduct competitive assessments of products, pricing, distribution, and positioning.
- Execute primary and secondary market research, including focus groups, to support new product development.
- Analyze market size, segments, product usage, and industry trends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Masters of Business Administration program with a graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the Maple Grove or Arden Hills, MN office locations.
- Experience identifying customer needs through various research methods.
- Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills.
- A history of success working within cross-functional teams.
- A creative approach to problem-solving.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
- Positions are based in Maple Grove, MN or Arden Hills, MN.
