About the role#
The Product Management & Marketing Intern will partner with senior product managers and global marketing leaders to support the HyClone™ Cell Culture Media and Process Liquids & Buffers portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of biotechnology, business strategy, and digital marketing. You will work on projects that help research institutions and biopharmaceutical companies develop new therapies. This position is based in Logan, Utah, and reports to the Director of Product Management.
What you'll do#
- Partner with product managers and marketing leaders on strategic initiatives to grow the HyClone™ portfolio.
- Improve the customer experience across ecommerce and digital platforms through content optimization and journey enhancements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs.
- Create marketing content, product literature, sales enablement materials, and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze website, customer, and business performance data to generate recommendations.
- Explore and apply AI-enabled marketing and business tools to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, R&D, and Customer Service.
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to business leaders at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Economics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- A proactive, curious approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with digital marketing, ecommerce, content creation, or social media campaigns is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity or marketing tools is preferred.
- Exposure to Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or other business analytics platforms is preferred.
- Experience in student organizations, leadership roles, or team projects is preferred.
- An interest in biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, or technology-driven industries.
