The NYC Summer Intern Experience is a full-time, paid summer program. This role requires individuals to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith. Interns are expected to minister as servants of God, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ as an integral part of the organization's mission.
What you'll do#
- Serve on a local volunteer leader team with students.
- Attend all required trainings.
- Participate in all summer internship cohort meetings.
- Meet with your mentor on a weekly basis.
- Provide evaluative feedback of the program to your cohort lead.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment or background in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or Human Resources.
- A commitment to abide by all organizational policies and practices, including those related to religious belief and ministry activities.
- Willingness to fulfill ministry functions as required by the organization.
- Completion of the Summer Intern Experience candidate process and affirmation.
