About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position at Assumption University. We are looking for students to help maintain a clean and safe environment for our campus community. This role is open to students across various fields of study, including Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, and Human Resources.
What you'll do#
- Clean assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Follow established procedures to keep the workspace safe and orderly.
- Handle the storage and disposal of trash by transporting it to designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues by submitting work order requests.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as required.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure company assets remain secure.
What you'll need#
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
- Physical capability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Comfort with physical demands such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment when necessary.

- Location: Worcester, Massachusetts.
- Term: Rolling basis.
- Compensation: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.
