About the role#
As a Student Food Services or Catering Worker, you will support campus dining operations. This role focuses on food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will work directly with customers and team members to ensure a positive dining experience.
What you'll do#
- Build and prepare food items following standardized recipes.
- Set up and break down workstations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and service areas.
- Serve food to guests and anticipate their needs.
- Keep food items stocked and replenished.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward guests, clients, and coworkers.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies.
- Protect company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must hold or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use Personal Protective Equipment when required.
