About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member in Northern Colorado to engage in ministry, leadership development, and resource management. This role requires a commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the active proclamation of the Gospel. You will work under the supervision of an area director to gain competency in ministry skills while pursuing a college degree.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct Young Life club and Campaigners discipleship ministry.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work and participate in camping strategies for the school season and summer.
- Collaborate with area leadership to recruit and train new volunteers.
- Assist with office administration, expense reporting, and general ministry support tasks.
- Participate in regional and area training events to develop personal spiritual maturity and ministry skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with relevant study areas including Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology, or Philosophy.
- Proven relational skills when working with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and willingness to perform ministry functions as required.
