About the role#
The Wild West Region Intern Experience is a part-time, paid internship based in Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on ministry development, leadership training, and resource management within a religious institution. Interns work under the supervision of an area director or mentor to gain competency in ministry skills and personal spiritual maturity.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Assist in office administration when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for majors such as Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
