About the role#
As an IT Data Analyst intern, you will join our Information Technology team for a 10-week summer program. You will gain hands-on experience by working with business systems and data analysis tools. This role supports our business objectives by turning data into actionable insights. You will contribute to meaningful projects from your first day while exploring career opportunities within our company.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Winemaking, and Research & Development.
- Answer business questions and improve reporting processes.
- Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Participate in project rotations within Application Development, Business Analysis, and Data Services.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Psychology.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Proficiency working with data in Python, R, and SQL.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts like random forests, ensemble methods, K-Nearest Neighbors, and K-Means.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Previous experience or coursework in data analysis, business intelligence, cloud ecosystems like AWS, or cloud platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks is preferred.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate data analysis is a plus.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Modesto, California.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
