About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience across People Development and HR Business Partner functions. You will report to an HR manager and work with partners across several US locations. The position focuses on active projects and operational priorities, providing exposure to the breadth of HR work at Covestro.
What you'll do#
- Support a set of projects based on current business priorities.
- Maintain and update the HR learning content review SharePoint site.
- Develop and update training courses using tools like EasyGenerator.
- Support the GoMentor mentoring program through communications, marketing materials, and system-based matching.
- Assist the HRBP team with critical position identification and automation processes.
- Partner with the HRBP team to identify and implement process improvements using AI across HR products and services.
- Contribute to other projects and priorities as business needs evolve.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year if you are an undergraduate student.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Prior internship or office-based work experience.
- Experience with HR systems, generative AI tools, and content development tools.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with process improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently or on a team.
