About the role#
The Industrial Facilities Management team at Covestro is looking for an intern to join our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is for the summer of 2027 and lasts approximately 12 weeks. You will work within our research and development facilities. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project planning and construction support.
- Perform equipment assessments and field analysis.
- Verify engineering drawings.
- Review and develop project specifications.
- Participate in AI implementation tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for mechanical, electrical, civil, or industrial engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of study.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A basic understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Completion of your junior year and prior internship experience are preferred.
