About the role#
Covestro is looking for a Procurement Intern for the summer of 2027. Based at our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, this role involves collaborating with our regional plant sites. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support the planning, analysis, and procurement of strategic materials and services. This is a 12-week program designed to provide insight into our operations, including potential visits to plants or warehouses.
What you'll do#
- Support projects focused on the planning and procurement of materials required for efficient facility operations.
- Help identify customer needs in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Monitor how new and established products move through the marketplace.
- Contribute to ongoing projects that aim to improve quality of life.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Completion of your freshman year of college.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, with a specific focus on Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well with diverse individuals.
