About the role#
Young Life is seeking Student Staff to join the team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a full-time, paid position that requires a commitment to the organization's Christian mission. Candidates must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith. This role involves a mix of spiritual development, leadership training, and direct ministry work.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life.
- Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct a Young Life club and discipleship ministry.
- Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures regarding professionalism, conduct, and time management.
- Engage in contact work and participate in summer and school-season camping strategies.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership for training and team development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Relevant academic background in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Philosophy, Nursing, or Public Health.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
