About the role#
Dana Incorporated is hiring engineering students for a co-op position based at our headquarters in Maumee, Ohio. This role offers hands-on experience across several departments, including the Gear Lab, Materials Lab, Test Lab, Samples Department, and Application and Product Engineering teams. You will work directly with our engineers to support daily operations, product testing, and design projects.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze gear dimensions to adjust machinery.
- Prepare material samples by sectioning, mounting, and polishing.
- Plan and execute material analysis and performance testing.
- Interpret test data and write technical reports.
- Build prototype axle and driveshaft assemblies.
- Analyze vehicle requirements to select appropriate products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop new part designs.
- Interface with customers to ensure project needs are met.
- Operate gear production equipment and manage tooling change overs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Civil, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Availability for the Summer 2027 term.
