About the role#
The MP&L Co-op works at the Dana final assembly plant in Napoleon, Ohio, which supports production for the Ford Bronco and Ranger. You will interact with staff across the corporation and build relationships with leaders, customers, and other internal functions. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate and automate material flow between international Dana locations and the Suffolk facility.
- Track inventory trends for the Napoleon plant and find opportunities for reduction.
- Create templates to automate manual processes like inventory reporting and SIOP.
- Identify and optimize SAP standard reports.
- Analyze freight spend to transition usage from premium to standard methods.
- Track plant material and delivery issues.
- Participate in daily diamond meetings and production meetings.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 2 years of coursework in a bachelor's degree program focused on Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, or the ability to learn these tools quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
