About the role#
Dana Incorporated is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op for our plant in Toledo, Ohio. You will support the engineering team by implementing new manufacturing processes and improving existing ones. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team with line trials and data evaluation.
- Troubleshoot assembly equipment and component faults to reduce downtime.
- Identify and complete projects to improve cycle time, quality, and safety.
- Partner with maintenance and engineering staff to repair machines.
- Help process engineers test and develop new tooling for product launches.
- Read and interpret blueprints for components, assemblies, and tooling.
- Update technical documentation, including Work Instructions, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering degree program, specifically Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience with automation equipment is a plus.
