About the role#
The Finance Intern will work within the Finance and Accounting Department at Dana Incorporated. You will contribute to projects throughout the summer and present your outcomes to the Finance Executive Management Team at the end of the program. This role provides insight into finance and accounting functions and acts as a pipeline for future full-time roles in the Finance Development Program. You will collaborate with plant controllers and various internal departments.
What you'll do#
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Create analysis to support reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Run reports and analyze data from ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
- Communicate results to various levels of management.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to learn and use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Word.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a team environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and business ethics.
