About the role#
This summer internship offers students practical experience within the Corporate Finance Department at East Penn Manufacturing. You will work alongside our accounting and pricing teams to learn about financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing. This is a full-time, paid position where you will contribute to real projects and attend team meetings.
What you'll do#
- Support the Cost Accounting team with year-end inventory processes and annual cost data updates.
- Work with the Corporate Pricing team to analyze sales operations and help develop pricing strategies.
- Prepare financial reports, data summaries, and performance metrics.
- Research and analyze financial trends, variances, and process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain financial records and documentation according to company policies.
- Complete and present a project to the East Penn team based on your department needs and skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from May through August 2027.
