About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, for-credit internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site at the Hamilton Township, New Jersey office as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on organic synthesis for research projects, including hit to lead or lead optimization against novel drug targets. You may also contribute to library synthesis of compounds for the research collection or collaborative projects with partner companies.
What you'll do#
- Perform organic synthesis for research projects.
- Engage in library synthesis of compounds.
- Report to the Department Director and assigned personnel.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Complete other similar or related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college pursuing a major in Biology, Chemistry, or another science-based field.
- Ability to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Hands-on experience in multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and structural characterization.
- Proficiency in modern chromatographic techniques, including flash chromatography, preparative scale HPLC, and LCMS.
- Experience with parallel synthesis or solid phase chemistry.
