About the role#
This is a full-time, for-credit internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site at the Hamilton Township, New Jersey office. This position requires you to be a current student at an accredited college and you must confirm with your school that this role satisfies their criteria for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Perform organic synthesis for research projects, focusing on hit to lead or lead optimization against novel drug targets.
- Participate in library synthesis of compounds for the research compound collection or collaborative projects with partner companies.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team while also completing tasks independently.
- Report to the Department Director and other assigned staff members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college pursuing a major in Biology, Chemistry, or another science-based field.
- Hands-on experience with multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and structural characterization.
- Proficiency in modern chromatographic techniques, including flash chromatography, preparative scale HPLC, and LCMS.
- Experience with parallel synthesis or solid phase chemistry.
