About the role#
We are hiring an Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Charlotte for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will gain hands-on experience by supporting New Product Development and Application Engineering projects. You will work on meaningful tasks that impact our business while developing your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop new products to meet customer needs.
- Analyze new technologies, market components, and product designs.
- Design test machines and procedures for nonstandard testing.
- Perform statistical and physical analyses on tested products.
- Specify basic design parameters and validate them against existing standards.
- Assist with cost reduction programs and routine analysis projects.
- Support product analysis during and after testing phases.
- Adhere to safety, ethics, and environmental compliance programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to commute to the Charlotte office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro-E is preferred.
