About the role#
This summer internship offers a practical introduction to finance and accounting within a global manufacturing environment. You will join one of our finance teams, which may include areas such as corporate accounting, segment accounting, internal audit, tax, or treasury. You will report to a team leader and gain exposure to senior finance leadership while receiving technical and professional training. This is a full-time, paid position running from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare monthly journal entries and review the general ledger for accuracy.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any variances.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts and related deliverables for leadership.
- Analyze trends for key performance metrics including orders, sales, and gross profit margin.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and schedules for Form 10-Q.
- Participate in individual and group projects, presenting your findings to senior finance leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Intent to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Completion of at least 2 accounting or finance classes before the start date.
- A GPA of at least 3.0.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
This role follows a hybrid work model. You will work onsite at your designated location at least 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for up to 2 days.
