About the role#
Genesis Hospitality is looking for a student for a Fall 2026 internship. You will work directly with the Director of Business Development on product design, branding, and retail management. This role is for academic credit and requires you to work on-site in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Help conceptualize, brand, and merchandise a new line of retail products for a French bakery.
- Research market trends and competitor pricing to provide insights to the Director of Business Development.
- Track product inventory and analyze sales reports to find areas for improvement.
- Create and update training manuals for bakery employees.
- Coordinate with the Marketing department on advertising and product display layouts.
- Participate in meetings with international vendors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Professional demeanor during in-person and phone interactions.
- Chinese language skills are a plus but are not required.
