About the role#
The Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation at Baylor University is seeking students to serve as models for a research project involving therapeutic exercise photography. This temporary position involves participating in photoshoots that capture a range of movements, from simple stretches to strenuous jumps. The role concludes once all necessary images are captured.
What you'll do#
- Participate as a model for therapeutic exercise photos.
- Follow direction from the production team regarding wardrobe and positioning.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set to represent the University.
- Remain available for scheduled shoot dates, which may occasionally be requested with short notice.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the department's mission.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Baylor University student in good academic standing.
- Ability to perform various exercises, ranging from stretches to jumps.
- Comfort in front of a camera and the ability to follow directions in a collaborative setting.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Total student employment must not exceed 20 hours per week across all campus positions.
- Preferred majors include Health Administration, Kinesiology, Biology, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas (MMGYM 110).
- Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 1-2 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM or after 5:00 PM, depending on photographer and facility availability.
