Student Worker - Student Exercise Model – Summer 2026

About the role#

The Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation at Baylor University is seeking students to serve as models for a research project involving therapeutic exercise photography. This temporary position involves participating in photoshoots that capture a range of movements, from simple stretches to strenuous jumps. The role concludes once all necessary images are captured.

What you'll do#

• Participate as a model for therapeutic exercise photos.
• Follow direction from the production team regarding wardrobe and positioning.
• Maintain a professional demeanor on set to represent the University.
• Remain available for scheduled shoot dates, which may occasionally be requested with short notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department's mission.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Baylor University student in good academic standing.
• Ability to perform various exercises, ranging from stretches to jumps.
• Comfort in front of a camera and the ability to follow directions in a collaborative setting.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Total student employment must not exceed 20 hours per week across all campus positions.
• Preferred majors include Health Administration, Kinesiology, Biology, or Public Health.

Location & details#

• Location: Waco, Texas (MMGYM 110).
• Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 1-2 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM or after 5:00 PM, depending on photographer and facility availability.
