About the role#
The Institutional Events Assistant supports the Logistics Strategist in the coordination and execution of campus events. This role involves managing event logistics for both departmental and student organizations, ensuring all activities comply with campus policies and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate logistics for departmental and student organization events.
- Draft event agreements and maintain communication with clients via phone and email.
- Develop room layouts using specialized software.
- Accommodate unique event needs and assist guests with professionalism.
- Answer incoming calls and complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Business Administration, or Marketing.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site at the LL Sams Offices.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Minimum 12 to 15 hours per week between 8am and 5pm.
