About the role#
This position supports the daily operations of the farm at World Hunger Relief. You will help maintain the grounds and facilities to ensure the farm remains a functional and welcoming space for the community. This is a paid, part-time role for students.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the daily operation and maintenance of the farm.
- Handle general upkeep tasks like mowing and landscaping.
- Complete basic repairs and various maintenance projects.
- Manage event setup and teardown.
- Assist with other farm tasks as needed to keep the site running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- A dependable and self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- A willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a variety of tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026 with rolling availability.
- Schedule: 8-20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with potential for Saturday shifts.
- Majors: Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, and Communications.
