About the role#
This position supports the mission of World Hunger Relief by assisting with the daily operation and maintenance of the farm. The role focuses on keeping the farm safe, welcoming, and running smoothly through a variety of hands-on tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the farm.
- Perform general farm upkeep including mowing, weed trimming, and landscaping.
- Complete basic repairs and construction projects.
- Manage event setup and teardown.
- Move materials and organize workspaces.
- Work with external community service partners as needed.

- Comfort working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Interest in supporting sustainable agriculture and education.
Location & details#
- Location: Spring Lake Farm, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026 with rolling availability.
- Schedule: 8-20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with potential for Saturday shifts.
- Compensation: $12.00 per hour.
- Majors: Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, and Communications.
