About the role#
This position supports the Mayborn Museum store, which serves as the final stop for museum visitors. You will interact with guests, university educators, and staff to provide quality customer service. This role is a part-time, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Engage with visitors and staff to ensure a positive experience.
- Process visitor transactions at the register.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing the shop when a supervisor is not present.
- Handle inventory tasks such as stocking shelves.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise during your shift.
What you'll need#
- Interest in retail operations and customer service.
- Ability to work weekends, specifically Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sundays from 12:30pm to 5:00pm.
- Flexibility to work additional weekday shifts between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
- Experience with cash handling is encouraged but not required.
- Students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications are encouraged to apply.
