About the role#
As a Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in our Nashville office to help clients navigate federal and state tax incentives. This role offers hands-on experience with R&D tax credits, cost segregation projects, and energy-related incentives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with federal credits and incentives engagements, including R&D tax credit and deduction analyses.
- Interview technical personnel and review memoranda to support credit and incentive opportunities.
- Manage and organize client data sources for analysis.
- Support engagement teams by tracking project status and identifying next steps.
- Lead the assembly of final client deliverables.
- Serve as a point of contact for client personnel with both tax and technical backgrounds.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior status in an accredited accounting program.
- Progress toward 150 credit hours, with two years remaining until graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- An interest in areas such as fixed asset review, depreciation, capitalization, and software development costs.

- Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
