About the role#
The Office of Auxiliary Services Operations is seeking a Student Assistant to join our team. This position reports to the Associate Director and works alongside staff members, on-campus business partners, and other university departments. This is a paid, part-time role offering up to 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule between Monday and Friday.
What you'll do#
- Support vending audits for beverage and snack services.
- Assist with the Reverse Vending Machine program.
- Conduct dining equipment inventory surveys.
- Participate in marketing initiatives for vendor campus events.
- Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, e-filing, and computer work.
- Complete additional projects assigned by the Auxiliary Services team.
What you'll need#
- Current USF student status with a Federal Work Study award for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 academic year.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to work outside an office environment for occasional event participation.
- Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
