About the role#
As an Undergraduate Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will support clients working toward mental health stability and independence. You will work under the mentorship of licensed clinical professionals to provide skills-based interventions in home and community settings. This role is paid at $17.00 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with the team to design effective treatment plans.
- Document mental health sessions in patient electronic health records.
- Attend staff and team meetings to contribute to client care.
- Participate in regular supervision with your internship supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program for Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, or Public Health.
- Completion of at least 30 semester credit hours or 40 quarter credit hours.
- You must receive internship credit or be completing a formal practicum.
- A minimum 6-month commitment to the program.
- Access to a personal vehicle for use during the internship.
