About the role#
This is a paid student internship within the Athletics Performance department at Baylor University. Interns work under the direct supervision of a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the Division 1 Football Team. The role requires a 20-hour weekly commitment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the coordination of strength and conditioning activities.
- Implement strength and conditioning programs for the Division 1 Football Team.
- Monitor equipment and exercise routines to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Athletics Performance department by performing assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant field of study, such as Kinesiology, Nutrition, Health Administration, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Ability to assist in program coordination and implement training protocols.
- Commitment to maintaining safety best practices in a weight room environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Fudge Football Facility Weight Room, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay Rate: $8.50 per hour.
