About the role#
The Mental Health Outreach Fellow works within Counseling Services to promote mental health resources across campus. You will shadow the Coordinator of Outreach Services and assist with student organization collaborations, tabling events, and social media outreach. This role involves gathering feedback to improve future programming and attending committee meetings.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of outreach events.
- Create content for social media and marketing materials.
- Manage outreach materials and inventory.
- Coordinate workshops, webinars, and educational training sessions.
- Research and develop educational resources.
- Provide customer service to internal and external partners.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Psychology, Public Health, Communications, Nursing, Sociology, or Health Administration.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week in 4-hour blocks.
- Commitment to regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to follow university policies and procedures.

- Location: McLane Student Life Center, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $12.50 per hour.
