    About the role#

    This internship provides students with exposure to hospital management and administration. You will work on specific projects and deliverables within various departments at Duke Health. The program offers a formal structure to help you build skills in a healthcare setting, ranging from program development to policy analysis. You will receive mentorship from project teams and leadership throughout your time here.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to assigned projects and departments.
    • Interact with project teams to complete specific deliverables.
    • Receive mentorship and support to help you succeed.
    • Present your project outcomes to senior leaders at the end of the program.
    • Provide feedback on your internship experience.

    What you'll need#

    • High School graduation and completion of at least one year of a bachelor's degree program.
    • Preferred majors include Business Administration or Public Health.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with people of all backgrounds.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of customer service, event promotion, and research methods.
    • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

    • Work modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time position.
