About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition your academic pharmacy training into a professional practice setting. You will work under the guidance of a preceptor and District Leader to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role prepares you for a future Pharmacist position by deepening your knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient safety, and clinical standards.
What you'll do#
- Apply pharmacy school learning to daily operations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows.
- Ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and facilitate medication changes where permitted.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members.
- Complete basic inventory tasks like cycle counts and medication deliveries.
- Support immunization services by educating patients, obtaining informed consent, and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Maintain focus and accuracy while pivoting between tasks to meet patient needs.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Valid intern or technician licensure.
- 1+ years of work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service.
- Ability to become immunization certified.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to work at your home store and travel to other locations within the market.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

- Compensation: $24.25 - $42.00 per hour.
