About the role#
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a Radiology Student Tech to work on a PRN basis in Edmond, Oklahoma. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support patient care within our radiology department.
What you'll do#
- Operate and monitor radiographic equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure radiation safety by using protective devices like lead aprons, gloves, gonad shields, cones, and collimators.
- Manage computer and clerical tasks related to radiology requests.
- Keep radiographic exam rooms stocked and orderly.
- Apply nursing procedure techniques to ensure patient safety and care while they are in the department.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two semesters in an accredited Radiology program, verified by your program director.
- BLS or CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association (required within 30 days of hire).
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
