About the role#
The World Cup Cafe is hiring a student worker to assist with daily operations. This role involves direct customer service and supporting the cafe staff. You will work off-campus in a community service setting. Reliable transportation is necessary for this position.
What you'll do#
- Wait on tables and serve food to customers.
- Bus tables and keep the facility clean.
- Operate the coffee station and prepare coffee drinks.
- Collaborate with team members to provide service to the public.
What you'll need#
- You must be eligible for federal work-study.
- You need to obtain a food handlers certificate.
- Experience with customer service and point of sales systems.
- Proficiency with computers and strong communication skills.
- Majors in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Nutrition are preferred.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Hours: 10-20 hours per week.
- Pay: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
