Barista

About the role#

The Student Barista provides service to students by preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and food items. This role supports the daily operations of the café within the Residential Dining department, ensuring a welcoming environment for the campus community.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, beverages, and food items.
• Support daily operations within the café.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety standards.
• Assist with food handling, presentation, and the upkeep of common eating areas.
• Create a welcoming experience for students.

What you'll need#

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in food handling and knowledge of food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
• Current enrollment in majors such as Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Communications, Nutrition, or Psychology.

• Work Modality: On-site at dining locations.

• Compensation: $12.00 per hour.
