About the role#
The Office of the Registrar is seeking a Student Worker to provide administrative support. This position is ideal for students interested in learning about university registration and office operations. The role requires a professional work ethic and the ability to work independently.
What you'll do#
- Provide general office support to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
- Greet visitors and handle inquiries with a focus on customer service.
- Assist with ongoing projects and departmental activities.
- Manage daily tasks such as scanning documents, distributing mail, and preparing outgoing mail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all office information.
What you'll need#
- Must have completed at least one year of enrollment at Baylor University.
- Availability Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle inquiries with tact and diplomacy.
- Commitment to complying with all university policies.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
