About the role#
This position supports the Groups Service Coordinator and Mobilization team at Mission Waco. You will help create service-learning experiences for volunteer groups. This role is off-campus employment and requires Federal Work-Study eligibility.
What you'll do#
- Assist the mobilization team with project coordination and group scheduling.
- Document and report information regarding volunteer projects and experiences.
- Communicate with staff, partners, and participants to organize service projects.
- Supervise volunteer experiences by working alongside group leaders.
- Develop promotional materials to support and maintain community partnerships.
- Represent Mission Waco and Mission World to visiting volunteer groups.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, phone systems, and email.
- A reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with facility management equipment, such as lawn mowers and paint, or a willingness to learn.
- A mature and communicable Christian faith.
- Ability to work 10 to 20 hours per week.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site at Mission Waco Mission World.
- Term: Fall 2026 with rolling employment.
- Pay: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour.
