About the role#
This position supports the Groups Service Coordinator and Mobilization team at Mission Waco. You will assist in creating service-learning experiences for volunteer groups and represent the organization to external partners. This is an off-campus, paid student worker position requiring Federal Work-Study eligibility.
What you'll do#
- Support staff and programs by documenting and reporting project details and group schedules.
- Coordinate service projects through communication with staff, partners, and participants.
- Supervise volunteer experiences by working collaboratively with group leaders.
- Develop promotional materials to build and maintain community partnerships.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, phone, and email.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with facility management equipment or a willingness to learn.
- A mature and communicable Christian faith.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Health, or Environmental Engineering.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026, with ongoing availability.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
- Compensation: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour based on experience and status.
