About the role#
The String Project Teacher position involves providing instruction to children in grades 4-12 on violin, viola, cello, or bass. Teachers apply instructional methods learned in their degree coursework to facilitate learning and growth for students in the program.
What you'll do#
- Co-teach group lessons or provide individual private instruction on string instruments.
- Identify student educational needs and provide targeted assistance.
- Foster educational growth and development in a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist students in designated academic subjects as needed.
- Provide information and customer service to constituents.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all pertinent information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a string music education or string performance major.
- Ability to comply with all University policies.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco Hall East, Room GL 29, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 2-5 hours per week on a flexible basis.
- Term: Ongoing through Fall and Spring semesters.
