About the role#
This student worker position supports the daily operations of World Hunger Relief. You will assist with office administration, facility maintenance, and social media outreach. This role is based on-site at Spring Lake Farm in Waco, Texas. It is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term and beyond.
What you'll do#
- Manage administrative tasks and office errands.
- Create social media content and design graphics using Canva.
- Help clean and organize farm facilities.
- Assist with external community service partners.
- Support the planning of farm fundraising events.
- Provide customer service and perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks and multitask effectively.
- Experience creating social media content and graphics.
- A valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- A self-motivated approach to completing tasks.
- Prior experience in a non-profit is preferred but not required.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 8 to 20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with occasional Saturday availability.
