About the role#
The Social Media Director leads the digital presence for Park Promo, the student-run agency for the Roy H. Park School of Communications. As a member of the agency leadership team, you will guide the strategy and execution of communications to support recruitment, enrollment, and event promotion. This role focuses on building engagement and strengthening the reputation of the school through digital storytelling.
What you'll do#
- Lead the development and optimization of social media communications.
- Coordinate a team of student content creators, including designers, photographers, videographers, and digital storytellers.
- Implement strategies that support student engagement and community building.
- Provide creative direction to ensure content showcases the work of students, faculty, and alumni.
- Use analytics to refine digital outreach and messaging.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lead the development and execution of social media strategy.
- Experience with digital storytelling and audience engagement.
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate creative teams.
- Understanding of analytics and creative direction.
- Current enrollment as a Communications major.
