About the role#
The Dining Services Student Supervisor position at Campus Center Dining offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience while supporting dining operations. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the quality and safety of guest experiences. Students will work in a collaborative environment and receive on-the-job training.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and assist with special requests.
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of all food items, including ingredients, preparations, and allergens.
- Prepare service lines by cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring proper display of menus and required service items.
- Monitor and record food temperatures at required intervals and comply with HACCP regulations.
- Replenish service lines from coolers, ovens, and hot boxes as needed.
- Assist with dining room setup and breakdown, including cleaning tables, chairs, and high-touch points.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.

Location & details#
- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Shifts are available Monday through Saturday with hours ranging between 4 and 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $16.30 per hour.
- Majors: Open to students in Nursing, Public Health, and Civil Engineering.
