About the role#
Ithaca College is hiring a student for the ENVS Aquaponics Assistant position. This role is part of the student employment program and offers experience in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
You will manage the daily operations of the aquaponic system. Your tasks include:
- Supervising student users of the system.
- Staying on-call to handle emergencies.
- Monitoring supply levels and placing orders when stock is low.
- Organizing the facility.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students majoring in Environmental Engineering, Biology, or Agriculture. You should be comfortable supervising others and have the availability to respond to urgent issues as they arise. You must also be able to maintain facility supplies and keep the workspace organized.
