About the role#
The Public Relations and Communications Director acts as the strategic communications leader for Park Promo, the student-run agency for the Roy H. Park School of Communications. You will join the agency leadership team to develop and carry out communications strategies that improve the visibility and reputation of the school. This role shapes how the school is perceived by students, alumni, faculty, staff, and industry partners.
What you'll do#
- Lead a team of student communications professionals.
- Manage media relations, public affairs, reputation management, and internal communications.
- Create and run promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with the social media, creative, marketing, digital storytelling, and events teams.
- Ensure consistent communication of the school's mission and achievements.
What you'll need#
- Experience in media relations and public affairs.
- Background in strategic messaging and reputation management.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Ability to develop and execute integrated communications strategies.
- Enrollment as a student in the Communications major.
