About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a student worker to serve as a Volleyball Student Manager. This role provides support to coaches and student-athletes during practices, matches, and team operations. It is a good fit for students interested in collegiate athletics, sport management, or coaching.
What you'll do#
- Set up and break down courts, nets, antennas, ball carts, and audio systems.
- Assist with drills, feed balls, and manage player rotations.
- Operate practice technology including video systems, stat software, and radar guns.
- Manage balls during warm-ups and match play.
- Support visiting team logistics and officials.
- Manage ball kids and perform floor maintenance during games.
What you'll need#
- Detail-oriented approach to practice support.
- Interest in gaining hands-on experience in collegiate athletics.
- Ability to operate stat software, video systems, and other practice technology.
- Majors preferred include Kinesiology, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Health Administration, Sociology, or Criminal Justice.
Location & details#
- Location: Ferrell Center, Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $9 per hour.
- Schedule: Flexible hours. Preferred availability includes Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 10:30am, and Monday and Friday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
