About the role#
As an Office Assistant at Ruth Collins Hall, you will provide administrative support to the residential community. You serve as a resource for residents, visitors, and staff while helping maintain the safety and security of the hall. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to uphold university policies.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to residents, including room access and equipment check-outs.
- Monitor door security and notify staff of any issues.
- Maintain accurate logs for maintenance requests, lost and found items, and equipment check-outs.
- Help residents communicate concerns to hall staff.
- Enforce Campus Living & Learning policies.
- Greet visitors and assist with general office tasks like filing, answering phones, and data entry.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in typing.
- Ability to learn the computer program used for front desk functions.
- Capacity to complete general administrative tasks.
- Skill in providing customer service to a diverse population.
- Ability to work effectively on a team.

- Work modality: On-site at Collins Residence Hall.
- Compensation: $8.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, ranging from 5 to 20 hours per week.
