About the role#
This position supports the Student-Athlete Formation unit at Baylor University. The role focuses on planning and implementing programs that promote the holistic development of student-athletes, including career readiness, personal growth, and transition beyond sport. You will work closely with student-athletes, coaches, Athletics staff, and campus partners to ensure success both during and after their collegiate experience.
What you'll do#
- Develop educational resources and programming focused on brand development and NIL education for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with university, NCAA, and state NIL regulations.
- Support student-athlete guidance on personal branding, marketplace positioning, and social media strategy.
- Lead and support career development initiatives designed to prepare student-athletes for professional success.
- Assist in the implementation of programming focused on leadership development and personal growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with coaches, Athletics staff, campus partners, and community organizations to enhance the student-athlete experience.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of relevant experience in intercollegiate athletics, student development, or higher education.
- Specific experience in providing NIL education for student-athletes or deep knowledge of NIL in intercollegiate athletics.
- Experience planning and facilitating workshops and events.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and solve complex problems systematically.
- Commitment to the Christian mission of Baylor University.
- Relevant academic background in Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or Human Resources.
