About the role#
The Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation is seeking students to serve as models for a research project involving therapeutic exercise photography. This temporary position involves demonstrating specific exercises ranging from simple stretches to strenuous jumps. You will work under the direction of a production team to capture high-quality images for departmental use.
What you'll do#
- Participate as a model for therapeutic exercise photoshoots.
- Follow specific direction regarding wardrobe, positioning, and exercise technique.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set while representing the University.
- Remain available for scheduled shoot dates, which may occasionally be requested on short notice.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Baylor University student in good academic standing.
- Ability to perform various physical exercises, from stretches to jumps.
- Comfort in front of a camera and the ability to work collaboratively with a production team.
- Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to representing the University positively.
- Must not exceed 20 hours of total student employment across all positions during the week of any project.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas (MMGYM 110).
- Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
- Schedule: 1-2 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM or after 5:00 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position ($10-$12/hour, depending on experience and student status).
