About the role#
This position supports the Volunteer Service Coordinator and the Mobilization team at Mission Waco. You will help manage a large volunteer program by handling administrative tasks and engaging with the community. This is a part-time role for the Fall 2026 term, requiring 10 to 20 hours of work per week. You must be eligible for Federal Work-Study to apply. Please note that this is an off-campus role, so you will need reliable transportation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment activities and tabling events.
- Maintain the volunteer database and update individual profiles.
- Generate reports and handle general office duties.
- Support volunteers during programs and assist with special events like volunteer appreciation.
- Create content including flyers and handouts.
- Communicate with volunteers and staff via email, phone, text, and in-person meetings.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility for Federal Work-Study.
- Proficiency with data entry in Excel and Word.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment.
- A genuine interest in the mission and goals of the non-profit.
- Ability to work well within a team.

- Pay: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour.
