About the role#
The Athletics Graphic Design Student works within the Athletics Branding and Creative Services department to support 19 NCAA Division I sports programs. This role involves creating high-impact visual content for digital, social, and print platforms. You will work alongside full-time creative staff to conceptualize and execute original design projects, gaining hands-on experience in a collegiate athletics environment. A portfolio or work samples demonstrating design proficiency are required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Design graphics for social media, promotional campaigns, products, game day themes, and other athletics-related content.
- Collaborate with creative staff, sport programs, and internal departments to develop and execute visual concepts.
- Execute projects from concept through final production while maintaining brand standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
- Support creative initiatives and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current Baylor University student status.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong understanding of layout, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- A team-first mentality and willingness to support teammates and creative staff.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas (McLane Stadium).
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week with flexible working hours.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
- Term: Opportunities available from Fall 2026 through Fall 2028.
